Apricot Crumble Bars

Serving: 15

Ingredients
1. 1 cup brown sugar
2. 2/3 cup white sugar
3. 1 teaspoon baking powder
4. 2 cups flour
5. 2 sticks margarine
6. 1 egg 
6. 15 oz. of apricot jam
7. 1 tablespoon of vanilla

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
2. Combine the brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder, & flour 
3. Melt 1 1/2 sticks of margarine slightly (so it is just about warm) & add the margarine & egg to the flour mixture 
4. Lay down 3/4 of the mixture onto a pan
5. Spread the jam over the mixture & sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the jam
6. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden
7. Let cool for 25 minutes before serving

  1. This looks so yummy. Apricots with all that brown sugar and butter, you really can't go wrong.

  2. Lindsay, want to make your Apricot Crumble bars. Ingredients list white sugar, but method doesn't say what to do with it. I'm guessing they get mixed, but maybe the white goes in the topping?
